Description
"I'm stuck!" the goblin shouted. "You put a spell on this jar to hold me fast!"
"That's right," Hershel said, laughing, "And it's a very powerful spell. You came here tonight to stop me from lighting Hanukkah candles. So now I am going to light them while you stand with your hand in that jar and watch. How do you like that?"

The optional pickle snowglobe charm comes with hand scultped and painted clay pickles inside a 1oz jar.
Book Context
Hershel of Ostropol visits a small village where the local residents cannot celebrate Hanukkah because Hanukkah l-hating goblins have hidden in the old Synagogue and attack villagers who attempt to light candles. In order to dispel the goblins, someone must stay in the old Synagogue and light the candles for all eight nights. Hershel accepts the challenge.
For the Christmas version of this slime, it pays homage to the uniquely German American tradition of hiding a pickle ornament on the tree.
Notes on Scent
This scent blend smells exactly like opening a jar of crispy kosher pickles. It starts out very dill forward, but the other notes blend beautifully once the slime is warmed up.
Notes on Texture
While the base of this slime is a coated clear, I have intentionally left it a little tackier than usual so it can hold the beads better. I had zero fallout!
Notes on Book Charm Cover
I mimicked the artwork by Trina Schart Hyman with the greedy goblin getting his hand stuck in a jar of slime.
For the Weihnachtsgurke, I invented a children’s book about a Christmas pickle ornament’s first Christmas at the famous Christmas market in downtown Chicago.
