Slime Dictionary

A detailed list of all the slime textures featured in The Library of Slime.

  • Bingsu

Bingsu slimes use curled glitter (also referred to as straw beads/glitter) to create a unique crunchy slime that is not harsh on the hands. The name comes from 빙수, the Korean shaved ice dessert of the same name.

  • Butter

A smooth, holdable texture made by adding lightweight air dry clay to a white glue base.

  • Coated Clear

Unlike a regular clear slime, a coated clear uses contact solution to "coat" the slime and make it more holdable and less sticky.

  • Crunchbomb

A clear or coated clear slime base filled with a multitude of charms and beads to give it a hard, satisfying crunch.

  • DIY Clay

A molded lightweight clay piece comes separately with this slime. Depending on the slime base, smushing the clay into the slime creates a unique new texture.

  • Floam

Floam slimes can come in clear and white glue bases, but are are defined by their use of styrofoam balls to create a lightweight but endlessly crunchy texture.

  • Fluffy

A texture between an icee and a cloud, fluffy slimes are gentle on the hands and delightfully sizzly.

  • Gravel and Rock

Gravel, lava rock, aquarium pebbles, and other kinds of rocks are used to create and hard and sharply crisp crunch. Can be harsh on the hands.

  • Icee

The Library uses a combination of clear and white glue with instant snow powder to create this uniquely soft and sizzly texture. This slime gets it's name from the cool feeling in the hands.

  • Jelly

Similar to an icee, a jelly texture uses instant snow powder in a clear base to create a thick holdable texture.

  • Slay

The middleground between a butter and a thick and glossy, a slay texture uses less lightweight air dry clay to create a soft but poppy slime.

  • Snowbutter

The child of butter and icee, snowbutter slimes have the best traits of both, being endlessly sizzly and poppy, but soft and gentle on the hands.

  • Snowfizz

Fake plastic snow is used to create this delightfully crunchy texture. A clear glue base makes the crunches sharper and crisper, while a white glue base makes a softer texture.

  • Thick and glossy

The classic thick slime texture. The Library of Slime uses a combination of clear, white, and tacky glue for our unqiue blend. Often abbreviated as T&G.

  • Thick and jiggly

Similar to a thick and glossy, the Library's thick and jiggly texture is lighter and more jello like.
