Book Context
Ninianne, or Nimue, has had many names and many roles, across the spectrum of Arthurian literature: from fairy godmother, to enchantress, to the Lady in the Lake who bestows Excalibur to King Arthur.

Notes on Texture
The first time the Library has used plastic tiles! Also known as button beads, they provide a wonderful crunch that is easy on the hands.

Notes on Scent
This scent is bright, clean, fresh, like walking up to the clean waters of a lake in the middle of a lush woodland.

Notes on the Book Cover
I designed this cover completely from scratch, as I imagined what a textbook on the woman of Arthurian literature would look like.  The artwork is the classic The Lady of Shallot by Waterhouse.
