It was a special pleasure to see things eaten, to see things blackened and changed. With the brass nozzle in his fists, with this great python spitting its venomous kerosene upon the world, the blood pounded in his head, and his hands were the hands of some amazing conductor playing all the symphonies of blazing and burning to bring down the tatters and charcoal ruins of history.

Notes on Scent
I picked all the warm fiery oils I have for this - the mix is very autumn fitting, with an extra intensity from the ground cardamom.
The name comes from the first line of the book, when Montag says “It was a pleasure to burn.”
Notes on Texture
The topper is super packed with lava rocks and block beads - there is just enough coated clear slime to hold it together.
The color of the slime I wanted to be the color of the night sky right above a roaring fire - that space of air where the light of the fire starts to fade into the black night. The topper is black, reminiscent of the charred and burnt embers remaining after a fire.
