Book Context
One of the most famous of Dame Agatha's mysterious, this one follows her detective Hercule Poirot as he travels from Istanbul back to the UK on the Simplon-Orient Express. The titular murder occurs when the train is stuck on the tracks due to impassible snow.

Notes on Texture
The base of this slime I'm describing as a snow thick, as it seems to reside somewhere between a thick and glossy and an icee.  Fully incorporating the clay piece results in a sizzly smooth snow butter.

Notes on Scent
The Simplon-Orient express route runs all the way from Turkey to Switzerland.  I chose a scent one might find in each location - ginger for Turkey, and Black Spruce for Switzerland.
